Infrared spectroscopic investigations for assessment of biological stability of MBT waste material have been carried out for several years. Degradation and stabilization of waste organic matter are revealed by changes in the mid infrared spectral pattern during the biological process. According to the problem (process control, assessment of stability of material to be disposed) different approaches of spectra interpretation are necessary.
The proposed presentation will give an overview and examples. The basic approach is visual spectra interpretation; the occurrence of indicator bands is recorded and correlatedwith the chemical and/or biological characteristics of the material. For further interpretation of infrared spectra of MBT material multivariate data analysis can be applied. It enables pattern recognition, discrimination and classification – by means of i. e. Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Discriminant Analysis or Cluster Analysis.

In the context of the European Climate Law (EU) 2021/1119), the Governance Regulation (EU) 2018/1999 and the Nature Restoration Regulation (EU) 2024/1991, the KAnG came into force on July 1, 2024.
Transformatives Klimarecht: Raum, Zeit, Gesellschaft

This article contends that climate law should be conceived as inherently transformative in a double sense. The law not only guides the necessary transformation of economy and society, but is itself undergoing transformation.
