Regenerative Energie
As a consequence of legal regulations with respect to emissions, post-treatment of the exhaust gas streams arising from MBT is necessary.
For this purpose thermal postcombustion plants with regenerative pre-heating are widely used. During operation of these plants several problems and outstanding issues arise (e. g. corrosion, deposition growth, compliance with energy demand, that was projected), which are reviewed in this article.
