Regenerative Energie
On July 7th 2006, the Bundesrat (Federal Council of Germany) agreed a draft of a Statutory Regulation of the Federal Government from December 16th 2005, which was adopted by the Bundestag (Federal Diet), with several suggestions of measures.
Among other things, the Statutory Regulation shall implement the Council Decision 2003/33/EC from December 19th 2002, in which the European Council decided criteria and procedures for the acceptance of waste at landfills. The Council Decision comprises specific criteria and test methods and associated limit values for each class of landfill. In the now adopted draft of a Statutory Regulation the application of two German federal states concerning the DOC-reappraisal was agreed to.
