Fully Automated State of the Art MSW Sorting

Possibilities within the Field of Mixed MSW Treatment

Since the first automatic sorting machines in 1996 the performance of these appliances has dramatically changed.
 
It was in the year 1993 when the Norwegian government ruled that a special packaging has to be recovered after its use out of the remainders of the Norwegian households. This special packaging was the beverage carton which thus set off the development of a technology revolutionizing the whole waste management market. Its key innovator ever since has been the company TITECH.
 
The material stream is spread on a highly accelerated conveyor belt over which the detection unit is located. The operator decides on a very simple interface which material is to be sorted. The desired material is ejected by the means of compressed air into a chamber separating the refused material form the desired one.
